On September 23, 2024, Chemical & Biomedical Imaging (CBMI), a high-quality journal co-founded by Nanjing University and the Publications Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS), was officially indexed in the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. This milestone marks a significant advancement for CBMI, which is set to receive its first Impact Factor in 2025!
The ESCI database will index all articles published by CBMI since its inception, allowing them to be cited and retrieved via the Web of Science platform. This will enhance their visibility and citation rates, thereby providing CBMI authors with greater international impact.
CBMI sincerely thanks all the experts, scholars, authors, readers, reviewers and the editorial team for their invaluable support and contributions. The journal remains committed to its original mission of providing a high-quality communication platform for scholars in the fields of chemical and biomedical imaging.
Since its lauch in April 2023, CBMI has steadily gained recognition and has been indexed in key databases such as CAS, DOAJ, Scopus, and ESCI, thanks to its rigorous academic standards and exceptional publication quality. To date, CBMI has successfully published 18 issues featuring 148 outstanding articles, amassing a readership of over 210,000, which highlights its growing influence.
Looking ahead, CBMI will continue to collaborate with researchers to explore the vast possibilities in chemical and biomedical imaging, promote the advancement of these disciplines, facilitate knowledge dissemination, and contribute to the development of a more robust academic ecosystem.
