Our School has established a dual-degree program with Hokkaido University. Our school and the School of Chemistry of Hokkaido University will recognize each other's course credits mutually. We send graduate students to each other for more than one year of collaborative research.
Our school signed the "3 + 1" International Exchange Agreement with the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. We will recommend outstanding third-year undergraduates to UC Berkeley to participate in this project.
Our school has conducted two-way exchanges and cooperation with the University of Michigan Since 2018. Every year, we send 8-10 senior students to the University of Michigan to conduct scientific research internships for 2-6 months. Three of the first batch of exchange students have been accepted by the University of Michigan and are pursuing doctoral degrees in the United States.
Our school established a two-way undergraduate exchange program with the University of Sydney in 2013. Each year, four outstanding third-year undergraduates are sent to each other's departments for scientific research exchanges.
Our school signed an undergraduate international exchange agreement with UOIT in 2017, and established a two-way exchange program for undergraduates. Each year, 2-5 outstanding third-year undergraduates are sent to each other's departments for scientific research exchanges and summer school.
Our school signed an undergraduate international exchange agreement with Universidade de Sao Paulo in 2017
Our school has invited professors from the University of Michigan and other well-known international universities to hold international summer courses for undergraduates since 2017. The course involves polymer materials and life organic chemistry.
The 4th Asia-Oceania Sonochemical Society Conference was held at Nanjing University International Conference Center on September 19, 2019.
The 4th China-Japan-Korea Workshop on Theoretical & Computational Chemistry co-sponsored by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University, Institute of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of Nanjing University, and Jiangsu Society of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, was held at Nanjing University International Conference Center on January 9-12, 2019.
From May 16th to 20th, 2023, the First International Symposium on Small Molecule NMR Technology was grandly held at the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University, as anticipated by many. This conference was the first international symposium on the application of small molecule NMR technology held both domestically and internationally, co-hosted by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and the State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry at Nanjing University. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both offline and online participation.
The 18th International Conference on Molecule-Based Magnets (ICMM2023), organized by the State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Nanjing University, and the Jiangsu Chemical Society, was successfully held at the Nanjing International Youth Cultural Centre in Nanjing, China, from September 10th to 14th, 2023.
From August 16th to 18th, 2024, the First International Symposium on Chemical and Biomedical Imaging and the Editorial and Editorial Board Meeting of the Chemical & Biomedical Imaging (CBMI) journal were successfully held at the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University. Over 300 experts, scholars, corporate representatives, and graduate students from more than one hundred universities and research institutions worldwide, including Stanford University in the United States, University of Bordeaux in France, National University of Singapore, Hokkaido University in Japan, Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Nanjing University, gathered in Nanjing to discuss the latest research developments in the field of chemical and biomedical imaging under the theme Exploring the Frontier: Innovations in Chemical and Biomedical Imaging.
